FloPOS is a free and open-source product made available by Codify Apps Private Limited. It is provided as is, without warranty of any kind.

By downloading, installing, copying, modifying, deploying, or using FloPOS, you accept that you are responsible for deciding whether the software is suitable for your restaurant, business, country, hardware, taxes, payment workflow, and operating environment.

Codify Apps Private Limited does not guarantee that FloPOS will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure against every possible threat, compliant with every local law, compatible with every printer or device, or suitable for every business use case.

MIT license basis

FloPOS is distributed under the MIT license. The MIT license includes an express disclaimer that the software is provided as is, without warranties, and that authors or copyright holders are not liable for claims, damages, or other liability arising from use of the software.

User responsibility

If you use FloPOS, you are responsible for:

• Testing the software before live restaurant service.
• Confirming taxes, invoices, receipts, reports, and payment handling meet your local legal requirements.
• Checking printer, scanner, cash drawer, kitchen display, network, and device compatibility.
• Creating and verifying backups of your database and operating data.
• Controlling staff access, passwords, devices, and physical security.
• Maintaining your own hardware, operating system, network, and deployment environment.
• Reviewing source code, releases, updates, and changes before production use.

Production use

FloPOS may be useful for real restaurant workflows, but production use is always your decision and risk. Do not deploy any POS system blindly during live service.

Before going live, run a realistic acceptance test using your own menu, staff roles, taxes, receipt formats, hardware, network, backup process, and restore process.

If your business requires guaranteed uptime, professional implementation, managed hosting, formal service-level agreements, legal compliance review, or emergency support, you should arrange those services separately with qualified providers.

Support limits

WhatsApp, email, community support, documentation, and GitHub responses are provided on a best-effort basis unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.

Community help does not create a warranty, service-level agreement, legal duty, compliance certification, or promise that FloPOS is fit for a particular business purpose.
