Visible symptom: FloCafe accepts the action or order, but the expected receipt or kitchen ticket does not appear.
What it usually means
The selected queue or connection did not accept the print job, or the printer is unavailable, out of paper, open, paused, or configured for a different output mode.
Safe steps
- Check power, paper, cover, cable, and the printer’s own status indicators.
- Confirm the selected printer in Settings → Printers matches the intended station.
- Run Test Print and note the exact result.
- For a network printer, check stable addressing and local reachability. For USB, check the operating-system queue and raw ESC/POS configuration.
- Place one small test order. Avoid repeated production reprints until you understand whether the first job was accepted.
- If the issue persists, preserve the database and logs and contact support.
Confirm the fix
Test print, receipt output, KOT routing, and a controlled reprint all behave as expected without duplicate tickets.
Diagnostics for support
Provide FloCafe version, operating system and version, installation method, printer make/model, connection, queue or driver, exact steps, expected and actual result, and relevant log lines. Redact credentials, tokens, customer information, full databases, and unredacted receipts.
